Recently added for our customers in Australia, EARTH PACT® sugarcane ( bagasse ) paper labels. These make for a great candle label or sticker for other products that is both compostable and biodegradable.
They are perfect for a natural look printed label and can also be foiled in 12 different foil colours and can be embossed. Printed labels from 50 pieces and foiled/embossed labels from 100 pieces per design.
Earth Pact ® is a TREE-FREE UNBLEACHED paper and paperboard, 100% sugarcane cream or light beige colour for printing and folding carton packaging solutions with high quality for printing. It also has natural random fine flecks
It is manufactured in an ODORLESS process, with sugarcane fibres without bleaching, whitening or dyeing chemicals, saving water and energy, and with lower CO2 emissions, effluent and solid waste.
The sugarcane fibres are a waste of the sugar production UPCYCLED to paper and paperboard.
Question: Why is there subtle colour differences in Earth Pact labels?
Answer: Earth Pact are a natural paper that has not been bleached at all. They also contain natural random darker flecks of natural material.
In the case of sugarcane bagasse, which is the raw material of Earth Pact, bagasse harvested in summer has a bright colour from the raw material itself, and bagasse produced in winter has a slightly darker colour.
Depending on the extraction time of the bagasse raw material, there may be a slight colour difference, and this is a characteristic of paper that Earth Pact has because it has not gone through any chemical bleaching process.
